Some Highlights of Spring Off-Season

The spring season is such a crucial time for development and the guys worked hard to lay the foundation for next season. It was critical that we lay that foundation this spring because we are only going to have 11 days to prepare when we come in to pre-season camp. Our first game is vs. Bethel College on August 19th. 

The team worked hard both in the weight room and on the practice field. The guys trained every Tuesday and Thursday night under the lights despite the cold weather. We had 2 exhibition matches against Michigan State's Club team as well as Aquinas College. The great thing about the spring is that we play everybody and that is when we evaluate players who didn't manage to get a great deal of playing time in this past season. We made a lot of changes to our roster from the fall and we needed every opportunity to evaluate the whole squad. Under the leadership of next year's captains, Mark Rougas, Scott Soldan and Regan Billings, the team came together and had one of the best off seasons we have had in a long time.

2014 Men's Soccer Banquet

 Team Award winners were announced, as voted on by the players and staff. Other accolades over the past season were also recognized. It was a great day to celebrate with family and friends and close out the 2014 season. Many awards were passed out, lots of laughs were had and we honored our senior class one last time. This years awards were as follows:
