I made it into the country no problems, thank you everyone who prayed, the results the prayers were obvious. Unfortunately the location for the soccer clinic was very poorly constructed.. that coupled with the fact that it is currently ramadan (most kids are not allowed to come and play because it is a muslim time of fasting) has affected my plan of action. currently i am rebuilding the soccer field. I have removed the turf that was put down and am going to work on leveling out the playing surface before putting new turf down. I am also building a mini golf course in the off time!!
I am pursuing relationships within the soccer community here and have a meeting with some of people involved in the pro soccer teams (it was unclear if these people are players or coaches that i will be meeting tomorrow). Tuesday I will be playing in a scrimmage with one of the pro teams here, i cant wait for that!
Please pray for the construction of the soccer field, that everything will go quickly and the quality will be good. we just need to level out the area and lay the new turf down. the sooner i can get this built the sooner i can work with the kids!!
